Not quite on a par with a sub-woofer per se, BeoLab 8000 nevertheless had an audible improvement over its previous models. The Beolab 8000 speaker’s technical specifications remained untouched until the MKII version was released in January 2003 (as from serial numbers 16992475) when it was manufactured with newer driver units which delivered extra bass reproduction at low listening levels.
